Neck, shoulders and hands

Massage studio in Maryville
Two therapists in a studio above the hardware store on East Broadway. The first session is at 6:30 in the morning, and the last one ends in the evening, sized to what your day asks of you. We are taking new clients.

By the job
Most people here book around their job, not around a body part. Find your workday and start with the session people in that work usually book.
Nurses, cooks, flooring crews, anyone on a hard floor for a shift. Hours of standing put the work in the calves, the arches and the hips. The session starts at the ground and works up.
Carpenters, linemen, movers, warehouse crews. Lifting and hauling load the shoulders, the upper back and the forearms. The session goes slow and firm on those, at the pressure you pick.
Truck drivers, bucket-truck crews, delivery and sales routes. A seat for hours leaves the hips, the low back and the neck stiff and closed up. The session opens them up one area at a time.
Nurses at the charts, dispatchers, estimators, office staff. A keyboard day pulls the neck forward and tightens the shoulders, forearms and hands. A short session covers all of them.
The sessions
Short sessions for one area, and full sessions for the whole body. Every one has a book link.
One area, or the part of you your work leans on.
Neck, shoulders, forearms and hands at your pressure.
The whole back, with neck and shoulders.
Hips and low back, with the tops of the legs.
Pressure from light to deep, set by you.
Long, easy strokes at light to medium pressure.
Prices are set by session length and therapist and are shown when you book. How pricing works explains what sets them.
Each is licensed by the state of Tennessee. Book either one by name.

From the job site and the ward
“I come in right off the job site and nobody makes a thing of the boots. Donnie asks how firm I want it before he starts and checks again halfway through.”
“I booked the early slot after a night shift. Dixie kept the room warm and quiet, and I was covered the whole time.”
“The evening times fit a late crew. I like that they tell you what each session is for in plain words.”
“Half an hour for neck, shoulders and hands in the middle of a work week is exactly what I wanted. Easy to book and easy to find.”

Good to know
Yes. Leave your boots at the door and your tool belt in the car. You do not need to shower, and nobody minds the sawdust.
Whatever is comfortable. Undress to your comfort; we work around whatever you keep on. You are covered by a sheet or towel the whole time, and only the part we are working on is uncovered.
Yes, at any time and for any reason. You can pause, change position or end the session, and we stop right away.
We ask before we start and check again halfway through. Tell us to go lighter or firmer whenever you like. Deep work is a choice, not a default.
Upstairs from the hardware store on East Broadway in Maryville, with parking behind the building. The studio is up one flight of stairs; call us if stairs are a problem and we will talk through the options.
If you are unwell, tell us and we will move your visit. If you are pregnant, or have had surgery or an injury lately, ask your doctor before you book and tell your therapist what they said.
